Cancer Lately, I have been hearing a lot about breast cancer. I was wondering what are the risk factors, and what I can do to help prevent the disease. Could you give me some statistics on Hodgkins Disease - such as how many people have recurrences, when do the recurrences usually take place (how many years after end of treatment), what is the average length of complete remission, what are the cure rates, how many patients end up requiring a bone marrow transplant (average), etc.? I am a 63 year old woman and feel fine. I was told by a friend of mine that even if one does not have any risk factors for getting breast cancer, there is still a rather significant chance of getting the disease. Is this true? Can you tell me something about this?
