And apply ice as recommended by my doctor to relieve swelling and pain. And take Naproxen 500mg two times a day I have tried repeatedly to contact my doctor who did the arthroscope however I can not reach hem. I do have a follow up appointment with hem this Thursday. I all of a sudden have severe swollen ankles(along with feet and calves), I also wake up severals times throughout the night to , at first, numb hands (with slight pins and needles), to numb arms(which is scaring me more). i also feel like i am suddenly 25 years older as my legs are weak, my knees hurt and i move very slow. im hoping someone may help as i cannot afford to go to doctors office . much obliged. I'm fairly certain this is a bug that's been going around, but that lasted about a week for everyone else and he certainly can't go on like this for a week. What should I do?
