    Overdose unlikely to threaten life. If person takes much larger amount than prescribed, call doctor, poison-control center or hospital emergency room for instructions.

    Skin irritation around rectum.

Warnings & Precautions

Don't take if:

  • You have abdominal pain, bloating or suspected appendicitis.
  • You have undiagnosed rectal bleeding.

Before you start, consult your doctor:

  • If you have difficulty swallowing.
  • If you are bed-ridden.

Over age 60:
More susceptible to adverse effects.

Pregnancy:
Risk to unborn child outweighs benefits. May produce a bleeding disease in a newborn.

Breast-feeding:
No problems expected, but consult doctor.

Infants & children:
Use only under close medical supervision, particularly up to 6 years of age.

Prolonged use:

  • Not intended for prolonged use. May interfere with absorption of essential nutrients.
  • Don't take for longer than 1 week unless under a doctor's supervision. May cause laxative dependence.

Skin & sunlight:
No special problems expected.

Driving, piloting or hazardous work:
No special problems expected.

Discontinuing:
May be unnecessary to finish medicine. Follow doctor's instructions.

Others:

  • May affect results of some medical tests.
  • Don't take to "flush out" your system or as a tonic.
